It's been a while. Well, nothing has happened anyway so I guess it would've been pointless to update before now. ~grin~ Not like something's happening now though. ~laugh~

I'm going to Okinawa for six weeks this summer. I'll be helping out at the dojo. Sean's coming along for a couple of weeks too but then he has to get back to work. ~sigh~ Which means I'll be spending most of the summer with Jiji. Toru is also going to Japan but he'll be staying in Tokyo for his internship. Other than this little trip, I have no plans for the summer just yet. I'd love to go travelling around some more since I haven't done much of that this year. ~grin~ I even spent spring break here in Boston, working. ~smile~ Hooray for me.

That's about it. Nothing ever happens. ~laugh~ Not complaining though, it's nice to lead an uneventful life. ~grin~

I feel insane today. Well, more so than usual. Don't know why though... Could be the two whole pots of coffee and three bottles of coke I've jugged down. Could be the 12+ hours I spent playing P4 without a break. Could be the fact that I haven't slept in 28 hours. Or all of the above. ~laugh~ It's a happy day. Taking a break now and watching some Gintama since my fingers don't work well right now. ~smirk~

My baby sister was born on the 2nd! Whoop!  ^O^ She was named Haruka (春花) Minerva. She's sooo cute! She was born three weeks early but she's doing well and she and mom should get home this weekend. ~smile~

I've been staying at the "Castle" -as Ani-chan named our parents' place over the Christmas break- for the past couple of weeks decorating Haru's room. I hope she'll like it. ~smirk~ Dad's been helping me out since he took some time off work (think that's the first time in 15 years or so ~grin~) and Benzi's lent a hand too. Miru's been stuck on depresso-mode for a while now so he hasn't been around much... But he's doing better now. ~smile~ What else, what else..? I'm still with Sean, only two months 'til our first anniversary! Whoo! ~laugh~ Hmm... I still work at the bar but now I get to waitress too since I'm finally 21! ~grin~ I just finished my bartending training too so now I get to tend the bar when KT is away. Lucky! ~laugh~ It's so much fun! ~smile~ Anyhoo... think that's about it... I should sleep. I've been up for about 30 hours and can't stop giggling. Well, Ukai-sama is with me so sleeping is probably not an option... Heh, giggling is goooood. ~laugh~

Oopsie daisy! ~grin~ I keep forgetting to update. Hmm... well, I haven't been using my computer much in a while so no wonder really. ~smile~

I went to London earlier this month with Sean. We stayed at Chaz's place, which was really cool, good to have him back home. ~smile~ Also had dinner with Hermione and his girlfriend Zoë,  did most of my Christmas shopping and so on. ~laugh~

Other than that little trip, life's been pretty boring: just work and some school stuff. ~sigh~ Now I'm staying at my parents' place preparing for Christmas. ~smile~ It'll be our first Christmas at home EVER. We've usually spent the holidays in Japan with our grandparents but since mom's pregnant, she can't fly so this year everyone's gathering here. ~smile~ We're also going to have some additional players this year because aunt Raven'll join us as well as both Pui and Kyo's families. ~smile~ Oh, joy!

Here's whats been going on:

I finished my internship last month and got back to work. I resigned my job at the store though and am currently working at a nightclub. I'm stuck cleaning the glasses and wiping tables 'til January (when I turn 21) but it's still kinda fun. ~smile~

The past two and a half weeks I've been really depressed and for a week I actually didn't even leave my apartment. Or the bed. ~sigh~ I'm up and about again now and feeling fine. I ended up going to a shrink and got anti-depressants... I haven't taken them yet. ~grin~ Not sure if I ever will... I just don't think they'll do me any good at the moment since being depressed is not that common for me. I just have an episode like this every once in a while. The last one was almost two years ago so it really doesn't happen that often. And yes, I am aware this matches the B2D criteria, which -considering Toru has been diagnosed with bi-polarity- isn't that far fetched but at least according to the good doctors, I'm mentally healthy and the depression episodes are not caused by any illness. Lucky.

That's about it. I should be back to my normal routine real soon so dontcha worry! ~smile~

Sean's coming to Boston tomorrow morning and will be staying for the whole weekend. My grandparents are also still in town so we'll have to have dinner with them. Again. Won't be so scary this time since we already did that last weekend. Well, to be honest, it wasn't really scary since Sean got along with Jiji and Oba really well. I'm always freaking out when my boyfriends meet either my parents or my grandparents since both pairs are... really weird. ~laugh~ Of course, I'm used to it and don't really get shocked no matter what they do or say, but I know not everyone has grown up with that so they might choke... It's not every guy that can handle the girl's grandfather reminding him to have safe sex. ~laugh~ But Sean did really well, but then again, his family's a little hippy too. ~smile~

Ukai-sama came over yesterday to watch some movies. He hasn't left yet. ~grin~ Of course, the bitch queen I am, I'm making him do the dishes and the cooking. My personal house slave. ~laugh~ He only has himself to blame since he never left. ~evil grin~ We've watched Queen of the Damned twice, a couple Disney's and some superhero movies. ~laugh~ Next up is No Rest for the Brave, which I personally really like. Yay. ~smile~ I'm just very tired so somehow it doesn't seem fitting... or then it's a perfect fit. Who knows...

Okinawa: Four weeks of karate with 14 other "kids". That's about all we did since they didn't leave us much time for anything else. At least I'm in perfect fit now and finally got my dan. ~smile~

Atlanta: Dragon*Con was fun. There were eight of us: me, Toru, Benzi, Ichigo-kun, Ava, Haku-chan, Lily and Sumera. We met Hidecchi, Shino-san and Tobi there so it was pretty crowded at our base at Sumera's brother's place. ~grin~ Didn't do any cosplay this time 'cos I had no time to make a dress... Of course I could've worn an older piece but that's just boring. ~laugh~ Since the trip I've been suffering from a terrible summer flu tho so that sucks. Am not the only one, Toru and Ichi have been sick too. Poor us. ~sigh~

I was supposed to start my classes this Tuesday but since I've been sick, I'm starting them tomorrow. Sucks to miss the first classes 'cos then I'm completely lost there but what's a girl to do... ~sigh~

Also. I started my internship a couple of weeks ago. The one I was raving about a while back. ~grin~ Anyhoo, that's on for another three weeks. I've been totally bummed out about being sick 'cos I had such a great time working there. Even got along on a designing job so that's an added perk. ~smile~

Sooo... My trips around the world continue tomorrow. ~grin~ I thought I'd update my life a little before that since it's the Okinawa trip and, knowing my grandpa, there won't be much freetime -if any. Besides, I won't be able to access Internet anyway since we're staying on temple grounds. And I know how it is, believe me, I've been to a camp like this before a couple of years ago. ~grin~ It really is like (I said before) living in an anime! ~laugh~ Anyway, I'm really looking forward to it. If nothing else, I'll be in perfect fit after four weeks of torture. ~smirk~ Well, lets keep our fingers crossed I'll also get to rank up. I normally never have time to take part in the competitions so these types of things are really my only chances to get a new notch to my belt (or in this case to get a new belt ~laugh~).

Anyway, I was supposed to write about the trips I've already had... Well: first there was the week in Barcelona. I mainly hung out with my second cousins Aleesha (14), Carli (12) and Tomas (16) watching Football (soccer) Euro Cup from TV (Man, it would have been sooo cool to have been in Spain during the final game!), shopping and... sunbathing? ~grin~

Next, I spent about five days in England -in Manchester to be exact. I did some clubbing, more shopping and a lot of things we shall NEVER speak of again. ~laugh~ I mainly hung out with Daiku since he was the only one who had the decency to call in sick for work to do stupid things with me. ~giggle~

On my REALLY long train trip from Manchester to Glasgow (Scotland) I sat in a cart where there were only three other people. Lian-kun and I were talking online and we named my companions Harry, Ron and Hermione. They were all men. ~grin~ I actually ended up chatting with "Hermione" after we got to Glasgow 'cos we both had to wait for our ride at the station. Sadly, his name was not really Hermione, it was Casey. I still called him Hermione though. ~laugh~ Anyway, he was from Worchester and in town to see his friends. I have his e-mail address. ~smile~ Other than that, my time in Scotland consisted mostly of playing Crisis Core and watching TV since Jaye got called into work though she was supposed to have a few days off. Oh well... I still had quite alright time hanging out at her castle (and when I say 'castle' I really mean a castle). I also did some walking around in the town and the nearby grounds. Scotland is really beautiful, I must say. Such a shame I could only stay for few days. ~sigh~

On my way back home, I "stopped by" Los Angeles for Anime Expo with Illyria, Allen and Nate. I spent a great four days dressed up as Death the Kid (SOUL EATER) and slept like five hours altogether. ~laugh~

The past few days that I've been at home (for a change) I've mainly been spending time with Sean. ~smile~ Also, had dinner few times with my parents... Oh, so, I'm getting a baby sister or brother next spring! ~ooo~ We'll have 21 years between us and Shin-chan is older than his aunt/uncle! ~laugh~ Crazy!

Yu-chan and I were hanging out Tuesday and we were really bored so we hopped into my car and went on a roadtrip. ~laugh~ We ended up (here) in New York... Oopsie daisy... I had a journal? Really? ~grin~ I've been kind of busy (read: lazy) lately so haven't been updating. Anyhoo, I'm back from wherever it is that I've been vacationing from my head.

I've been a real good busy little beaver this week and gone to all of my classes, finished all of my assingments (on time and even before the due day! ~gasp~), working hard and babysitting Shin-chan and Anima-chan almost every night (since Benzi has quite a bit work at the moment and Toru's been obsessing over his finals). So, yay me! ~smile~

Last weekend was NYCC but in the end I had to cancel 'cos there was a flu epidemic at work so I had to cover for like three different people. Sucks. ~sigh~ The silver lining: I got to spent two days with Sean! Yay! ~smile~ Ah, right... Maybe I should explain Sean. ~grin~ We met on the flight back from Japan. We sat next to each other and started talking and... well, you know. ~laugh~ Anyhoo, he goes to Cambridge and well, naturally lives there. He's a victim of hippie parents too and loves travelling, dictionaries and stupid questions. Not to mention he's got great sarcastic sense of humour. ~smile~ We've had a few dates now and it's going well. ~smile~ For the first time in ages I think I wouldn't mind having a boyfriend. ~wink~

In other news: My appartment is finally ready! I moved back in a couple of weeks ago. Still have boxes lying around tho... Laaaaazyyyy... ~laugh~ It's just amazing! I still haven't figured out what to do with all the space! Maybe I'll leave the extra room for my shoes... ~grin~

I went through all of my clothes yesterday and threw out a bunch of stuff. I own four (!) pink princess dresses. I wonder why? ~grin~ It's not like I dress up that way more than once a year (if that)... I shouldn't shop when I'm stuck on Lolita-mode. ~laugh~

I'm going on a karate training camp to Okinawa this summer. It's for a month. Yay? ~smirk~ Apparently I live in an anime. ~laugh~

Ta-dah! Back again! ~laugh~ Updating on my life again...

Last weekend I went to Neo Noh Con with Hidecchi, Dan and Ukai-sama. Of course the convention got cancelled. Why didn't we know that beforehand? Wish I knew! ~laugh~ We didn't care tho and just walked around in our cosplay costumes the whole weekend. ~laugh~ We didn't really get to go anywhere since the weather was so crappy but the people in Jay's building were very amused. ~smirk~ And we weren't even the only ones: there were a couple of Narutards wandering the halls too! ~laugh~

Well, since the con trip was a total bust, I invited all the guys to join me in Chicago on Tuesday for Taste of Chaos. That was a little more successful trip. ~grin~ I even got to meet the guys of The Underneath! Way cool! ~shine~ We stayed a couple extra days in Chicago with my friends' Denny and Joy's place. Joy wasn't around tho since he's doing a specializing internship (or whatever...) in New York. He's a pediatrician. Anyhoo, they have the cutest little girls! I don't even like kids that much but damn, I really wanted to take them home with me. ~laugh~

Next on my list is Japan Night in Cambridge next Monday. Tagging along: Toru, Benzi, Hidecchi, Shino-san, Nao, Ichigo-kun, Tobi-tan, Lily, Ukai-sama, Haku-chan and Gaz. Ahhh... can't wait 'til Wednesday! That's when I'm leaving for France! Woohoo! ~dance~ I'm flying to Paris first and then off to Amiens from there. I've been begging him for months and he finally promised to come. Sheesh... Just my luck to get sick when there's not even an epidemic around. ~sigh~ I got stomach flu and spend three days puking my guts out -'til I had to go to the hospital to get some fluids. I'm feeling itsy-bitsy silly. I didn't sleep at all last night and now I've reached the giggly-stage of tiredness. ~laugh~

Last night we went to see Hidecchi's band (PAYING WITH NAIVETY) at Drake. Already saw 'em two weeks ago when they played for the first time in over a year. ~smile~ Anyhoo, they were awesome as always. ~smile~ In the end I was pretty wasted 'cos I kept sitting in the bar and let this dude by me drinks. I think his name was Sam... ~grin~ Well, around 2am I thank my benefactor for the drinks, gave him a kiss and then left with Nao! ~laugh~ Nao took me home (since he's an absolutist, he's always the designated driver). We stayed up talking and watching Kurosawa movies 'til morning and when he left, I opened my computer and well, here I am. ~smirk~

Tonight I'm going to Toru and Benzi's for dinner. Mom's coming too. Dad's still in China on a business trip but he should be back on Wednesday. ~smile~
